Minions Review

BANANA

The Minions were the best part of the Despicable Me films and now the studio realised that so they gave them they’re own film.

Minions is the basically an origin story for the characters and what they were doing before Gru became their master. We see the minions journey through time as they follow dinosaurs, cavemen, and other people villioness people throughout history and after one of their Masters is killed, their army chases them and the minions go into hiding which works for a while but Kevin realises that Minions need a leader to follow so with the help of little Bob and Stuart, they go to find the baddest villian to work for. They end up at villian con where they come across Scarlett Overkill and they manage to get to work for her. She takes them back to her home in England where she wants the minions to steal the crown jewels. From there we get a few hilarious situations and the 3 minions call the fellow minions so they can join them in England.

The movie is perfect for people of all ages to enjoy. I was a little hesitant about a film being led by 3 people who only speak a few english words but it does work. The animation was very good and the casting for the supporting characters (like Sandra Bullock as Scarlett Overkill) is great and does not take you out of the movie. The movie really works and it would not surprise me if we saw the minions return in their own film once again because the Minions are so huge.

Overall, I thought this movie was really fun and is good money for anyone to see. I rate Minions 7/10! (Which is about the same score I would give to Despicable Me 1 and 2)

So what did you think of the Minions movie and who would you like to see the Minions working for in a future film?
